Rev. Dr. Ian McLean
Old and St Andrew's Church is located on the High Street in Montrose. Montrose is a busy seaside town situated on the east coast of Scotland approximately half way between Aberdeen and Dundee.

The Church has reopened again for Sunday services at 11am. At the time of writing we are required by law to adhere to all the covid safe procedures – inc no singing, 2m distancing, hand sanitising, face coverings, strict cleaning regime, taking names for track and trace and an upper limit of 50 in the Church including those on duty. Anyone displaying any symptoms (or knowing themselves to have been in close contact with someone who has) must not attend worship but stay at home.

If you are thinking of coming please phone Thelma Robb 672263 or Willie Sinclair during the week prior to a particular sunday on 675671 so that we have an idea of numbers (and can signal if there are too many).

All congregations have also been asked by the Principal Clerk to strongly encourage people who attend worship not to gather to speak to one another after the service but to return home. There is little point us going to all the bother of seeking to be covid safe if this happens – and it can give people the wrong impression.

Please continue to pray for one another and support where you can and remember that the congregation is united in love wherever we are and however we are worshipping.

Stay safe! May the Lord bless you!
